A book exhibition and event was held in the Information Resource Center on the occasion of May 21 Librarians' Day.

According to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On further improvement of the provision of information and library services to the residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan", May 21 is designated as librarians' day in Uzbekistan. In connection with the date, today the employees of the Information Resource Center, professors and teachers of the university and students took an active part in the event. The devotees of the Information Resource Center were congratulated on the holiday of profession. The employees who took an active part in the event and public affairs were awarded with certificates of honor.
