Confucius Institute Established at Urgench State University

On 19 October, a delegation led by Luo Wenbo, Rector of Liaoning Normal University of the People’s Republic of China, visited Urgench State University. As part of the visit, an official meeting was held between Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Urgench State University, and Luo Wenbo, Rector of Liaoning Normal University.

The discussions focused on the establishment of a Confucius Institute at the university, with particular emphasis on expanding opportunities for Chinese language instruction, fostering intercultural relations, and advancing international cooperation in education to a new level.

Following the negotiations, a tripartite agreement was signed by the International Chinese Language Education Foundation, Liaoning Normal University, and Abu Rayhan Beruni Urgench State University on the joint establishment of a Confucius Institute.
