THE “YOUNG READER” COMPETITION WAS HELD

A “Young Reader” competition was held at the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni. The event aimed to promote a strong reading culture among students, encourage their interest in literature, and develop their intellectual potential.

The competition was jointly organized by the faculty representatives and staff of the Information Resource Centre (IRC). As part of the event, participants discussed and analyzed Paulo Coelho’s renowned literary work, The Alchemist.

The event was attended by D. B. Tojimuratova, Head of the Information Resource Centre of Urgench State University, as well as IRC staff members Sh. Ibragimova and N. Jumaniyozova. They listened to the students’ responses and evaluated their knowledge objectively in accordance with the established assessment criteria.

Following the competition, the winners were awarded certificates of merit and valuable prizes by the Faculty of Chemical Technologies and the University’s Information Resource Centre.
