Language — The Mirror of the Nation

A spiritual and educational event entitled “Language — The Mirror of the Nation” was held at the Information and Resource Center with the participation of students from the Faculty of Economics.

The event was opened by D. Khodjayeva, a first-category librarian at the Information and Resource Center. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of the Uzbek language as the mother tongue, its role in public life, and its significance as one of the fundamental national values that define the identity and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.

She also spoke about the reforms being implemented to foster love and respect for the mother tongue among young people, as well as efforts to preserve, cherish, and further develop the language. At the conclusion of her remarks, D. Khodjayeva extended her warm congratulations to all participants on October 21, Uzbek Language Day.

During the event, students further enhanced the festive atmosphere by reciting poems celebrating their mother tongue, presenting theatrical performances, and delivering speeches dedicated to the Uzbek language.
