A media tour of the new Information Resource Center was organized at Urgench State University. Members of the Student Press Club under the University Information Service and young people with a keen interest in blogging took part in it. At the event, the Director of the Information Resource Center, G. Samandarov, gave a detailed introduction to the activities of the new, modernly equipped Information Resource Center and the conditions created for students there. As promised, this modern center can serve 1,000 users at a time and includes the Beijing-Urgench Mathematics Center, a 506-seat activist hall, a university museum, and lecture halls named after famous scientists.
